Harlot = Black Hole B-Gone
August 3, 2007
It’s like something out of a book (pg. 105) — I go to this crazy place with a bunch of wicked crazy people. I see and meet a bunch of crazy people. I drink alcoholic-bevvies with even more crazy people, and then suddenly, like I’ve been released from the clutches of boredom, Icarus is suddenly ready for the fun part!
Black hole - buh-bye!
Chart 2, here I come.
Thanks to the Harlot for a wonderful evening. And for the record, I was not involved in the panty incident. Nope, not me. I was innocently playing with precious babies in the back row the whole night.

I really need to knit myself a lace shawl thingy. You’re making me jealous.

Yeah, right. Those panties had your name written all over then even before I read that they actually had your name written all over them.

Yeah, I’m pissed. I totally could have been there, met you, had the craziness, but NO, I decided to stay home w the kids and hubby since I won’t be joining them on vaca for 3 days. What a dumb*ss. Next time? Are you going to Revival?

Yay! I’m the “even” in the alkamahol sentence! I enjoyed myself immensely, and it was wonderful to meet you
And I’m glad the night scared the black hole away

Sounds like the Harlot Event was a blast. I love the shawl too. Do pictures of this event exist? If so…are they on you tube? I hope that her visit to Houston is as much fun as your’s….

Teeheehee. Guess what I showed Stephanie tonight in Madison? The empty panty packages…
And I have you and HoneyBee to thank for instigating this idea. Yup, you inspired me to do it… That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!
Bunny hugs,

You instigator, you!
She’ll never, ever forget that one time she came to Boston and was deluged in Lane Bryant’s best.

Sounds like a great time. I love the panty throwing idea. Was there a Tom Jones soundtrack per chance?

Damn, I needed to work Thursday night until 8:30. Now, of all the women I know, I would put you near the top of the “Most Likely to Throw Panties at Another Woman.” Congratulations on a very successful fund-raising gig, by the way. It was the $140 shirt, with the subtle ruffle gracing your shoulders. They never had a chance.

I had heard that the event at Boarder’s was hysterical. And I so did NOT believe you had nothing to do with the pantie incident and guess what … I read the REAL scoop on the Yarn Harlot first. My blogging friend filled me in on how much fun she had there also and she said “Ooh, you’re part of the MIT group aren’t you?”
Guess what … there’s a rumor that Stephanie will be at Seed Stitch next Summer. FabricNFiberFanatic is coming down for that also and this time I’m not missing it either.
Oh yah … love Icarus … yah for the fun part!

Of course it wasn’t you who instigated the panty throwing. You are a sweet innocent who would never think of something naughty like throwing large tighty whities at celebrities.
Pure genius, by the way!

Hmmm, I have this picture of a rather (in)famous and petite Canadian knitter holding up a pair of rather generously sized black panties that you did not throw…

We did have fun, didn’t we? Let’s get together soon. Will you be coming to Hampstead spinning this week? I’m really hoping that you do!
