Yea, I’m sayin’ it — Beth totally digs me. 
She bought me a present to celebrate the beginning of my spinning obsession career, saying that every new spinner needs to be indoctrinated encouraged. Isn’t it beautiful? At some point I’ll be skilled enough to use this. For now, I will pet my beautiful braid of perfectly Mafia colors. Speaking of — she’s so skilled at nailing my color scheme, when she gave it to me, I was wearing a shirt that watched the roving perfectly.
As an added benefit, I finished my Anastasia socks yesterday, and I love them. The Sophie’s Toes Froggy is stunning. The design was easy enough to memorize quickly, but created excellent visual interest with that spiral column of eyelets. Love.
Oh geez. Where did the photo of both feet go? Give me couple hours…

Beautiful! I love the colour and pattern together for the socks - excellent choice.
Speaking of indoctrination, I ordered some blood orange BFL roving off of Etsy to encourage my spinning habit. I can hardly wait for it to come - sweet orange roving, how I long for thee….hee.

I love your Anastasias- the hint of variegation in the yarn looks so great! I just finished mine (about two minutes ago) and I can’t get enough. Oh, and I love your blog.

The socks benefit from having a foot in them, I think–the spiral lace shows up much better. They look great! And you were right about the ribbing. I admit I had my doubts, but the length seems to be Just Right.
