Cold Ear Frog
February 9, 2007
Alas, I was just rounding the corner

and realized that the Jenny Hat needs a good frogging. I enjoy a nice skull cap, but Jenny is simply too small. See my poor exposed ear?

In case you’re wondering, I’m too lazy to schlep my camera around, and my blogtographer/work-wife took a 1/2 day, so I’m left to play the boss-avoiding/quick pic/blurry Photo Booth game. Fun times.
-wifey update: no baby and no allegations of spousal abuse. all is well.

Yup, it needs to be longer. I guess something can be said for those top down patterns huh? I was thinking of making this hat also from my one ball of Jo Sharp I have left. Is one ball enough?

The hat looks gorgeous! So sad that it’s too short. There’s no pain like a too-short hat - unless it’s a hat so narrow you can’t get it on your head. I too was moved to knit myself a hat to beat the wild winter wind and ended up with one that cut off the circulation to my brain. Frogging ensued. And then there was chocolate and a long distance call to the beaverancee.
Hope all is well with Wifey and the baby!

Finish it off then pick up and knit a fancy schmancy edging long enough to cover your ears.
I’m sending baby some get-out-of-that-belly vibes.
